Points forts : Beautiful location at the edge of the National Park Peneda Geres.
We were there for the second time in less than 4 years. Both times hitchhiking. People in this region are very welcoming to the point of : a restaurant owner where we stopped along the way to have dinner, left his business with a relative to drive us to the campsite after we have dinner there at his restaurant close to the road from Ponte da Barca to Entre Ambos os Rios.
Entering the campsite you can smell the sweet scent of pine trees in summer. It is a quiet and calm place to relax and enjoy.
This I would recommend specially to couples without children and with a tent. An advantage is that it was tents only and no caravans or campers.
The lake behind the campsite, where one can swim is a must.
If you walk across the small village (about 12 houses total, a shop and a road restaurant with an excellent take away roasted chicken), try to follow the river using the mountain road and you'll find small lakes where you can swim and enjoy the cristaline waters coming down from the mountain.

Points faibles : Not really suitable for campers or caravans.
Toilet facilities need to be modernised, but clean.
The ground could be made softer and levelled for when sleeping on a thin mat...
